Olivia is graduating from the school of law with a J.D. as both a Dean’s scholar and a Ralph Gregory Elliott Memorial Scholarship recipient. She has received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award on three occasions – for legal practice, Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship, and Legal Origins of Racism in America. One of Olivia’s mentors, Professor Mathilde Cohen, describes Olivia as a “tremendous asset,” noting that Olivia has “detailed and insightful memos that addressed complex legal and conceptual issues.”
Olivia’s experience includes serving as an Internal Competition Editor at the prestigious Connecticut Law Review, and she is a Womxn’s Law Student Association Mentor. She has served as a teaching assistant for the first-year Legal Practice program, displaying her confidence in her field of study. In addition, Olivia works closely with Professor Mathilde Cohen as a research assistant for food law and health policy, where she is passionate about making a positive change in.
Olivia strives to serve the broader community, spending her time a volunteer at CT Food Bank, as well as assisting pro bono attorneys helping veterans in need of free legal advice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, or reading.
After graduating and taking the bar, Olivia will be joining Diserio Martin O’Connor & Castiglioni as an Intellectual Property associate.
