Under the direction of the Women’s Center Director, this position coordinates the overall office management and complex support for one of five University cultural centers. The department addresses private, controversial, and highly sensitive data related to gender equity issues, coupled with the requirement to coordinate multiple projects with accuracy and short timelines. Requires a high level of independent troubleshooting and problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Coordinates the day-to-day management of the office, including student hiring and scheduling, purchasing, budget reports and some assistance with the logistics for events and programming. The Assistant is responsible for overseeing the administrative logistics for the Center’s programs and services and provides support to three full-time positions, two graduate students, and 20 to 30 student staff members.
